The Garden Wing - sleeps 2 to 4 persons.This apartment has a really magnificent high-ceilinged living room opening onto a covered veranda and the 'mirador' so that any extended family or group taking more than one apartment can eat together. The spacious sitting area has a wall of sliding glass that can be
left open in summer and in winter there is a large open fire, comfortable furnishings and a television which receives Spanish channels. For music lovers, there is a music centre for personal CDs or tapes.The kitchen/dining area is exceptionally well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, china and cutlery for 12 people. It was used and photographed by Good Housekeeping Magazine for an articles on Spanish food in 1992.
The two pretty bedrooms upstairs are reached by a covered veranda. There is one twin and one double room, each with an en-suite bathroom with shower, WC, bidet and wash basin. The double room can have hot air ducted from the fire below in winter.
This apartment shares the large terrace and barbecue with the Terrace Apartment and has been the scene of many great candle-lit parties with the whole house participating.

Gaucín is a mountain village and the surrounding terrain is quite hilly. El Molino del Carmen, like most of the village properties, is built over differing levels. Therefore, we would not encourage visitors to El Molino who have a problem with stairs.
