Offering two decadent curtained bedrooms and two bathrooms, the Lillias Pastia Apartment also has its own separate entrance from the main street in Gaucín.
This area of the Mill was once a gallery and the feeling of space and light not only lend the space a truly artistic ambience, but also make it the perfect family apartment. Guests enter though an ancient wooden door, into an arched and flagged salon.
With large comfortable couches, elegant traditional furnishings combined with modern touches, the Apartment is decorated with Moorish flair, and sleeps four comfortably. In the main raised bedroom there is a stunning canopied queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom is spacious and sleeps two in comfortable single beds.
The Apartment’s kitchen is up-to-date and fully-equipped (including a dishwasher), and its two shower-rooms are stylish and modern, offering all the conveniences you could need. There is also satellite TV and a DVD player for cosy nights in.
A private terrace, partly covered, and bedecked in leafy plants, is the perfect place to sip evening sundowners and contemplate another delightful day stretching ahead…
Please note that the Lillias Pastia apartment is on a lower raised ground level of the Molino therefore the views are not as panoramic and far reaching as those of the other apartments.
Please note - 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking. The balance is payable 6 weeks before the date of arrival.
"I shaved first, and brushed my clothes as for a dress parade. She was at Lillas Pastia's - an old gypsy, black as a Moor, who kept an eating-house, to which many civilians came to eat fried fish -especially, I rather think, since Carmen had taken up her quarters there."
(Don José describing his first assignation with Carmen, after his release from prison)
